The problem with so many shows on US TV is that they often don't get seen overseas unless they are a 'hit'.

I'm just wondering if it's worth downloading the episodes rather than waiting in vain for them to appear on my local telly.

I thought he was probably just dressing up in the previous pics but now I realise his character is a cross-dresser. Very interesting to see a few shows depicting boy characters in ways they've rarely been seen on US TV. That is exploring gender and or sexuality beyond the classic first kiss or holding hands.

Taylor Emerson in Oliver Beene was obviously gay. Mark Indelicato in Ugly Betty is very metro and possibly gay. Alexander Gould in Weeds is very upfront in sexual matters, discussions about masturbation and a visit to a prostitute where apparently he gets a blow job, Erik Per Sullivan's character on MITM was a potential nudist and more recently Keir Gilchrist on The Winner prefers to spend time in the company of an adult friend.

I suppose there was Adrian Mole as well.

In a new Aussie series, Lockie Leonard, there is a 12 year old who is experiencing the pitfalls and embarrassment of wet dreams.

Can anyone think of any other boy characters on TV that have been allowed to explore such issues.
