Una Casa con vista al mar (A House with a View of the Sea) is currently in festival release. The London Latin American Film Festival has a nice review/description of the film on their website at (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

The film stars 14ish Leandro Arvelo as Santiago. It is a very simple and beautiful story of a father's love for his son. Those who watch it may be reminded of Pelle the Conqueror and Life is Beautiful.

If anyone else has seen this film, I would be interested in reading your opinions of it.

Release of R2 DVD is scheduled for 22 April 2004 and can be ordered through (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

No English subtitles as far as information goes so far.
