Captain Ron (1992)

The Harveys are excited when they learn they have inherited a yacht that was once part of the Clark Gable estate. The problem is that the yacht looks like nobody has maintained it since Gable last sailed her. Not to be daunted, the Harveys decide to do the cosmetic work enroute to the mainland.

They have to have somebody to sail the vessel, though, so they hire "Captain Ron". The one-eyed seadog is a mixture of scoundrel, angel, and sea captain.

More adventure than any movie should be allowed to have.

When is inheriting a yach a bad thing?

It's one of those really silly movies that I'd rate a 5/10 as a movie...  but I've found that I've actually watched it several times. There is definitely something in it that keeps making me watch it.

I think some interesting words pop up when our typing falters.  I like 'yach'.  I think a yach would be some kind of utility boat but fancier than most. Cheesy

I also like 'drawf'.  This is a being similar to a dwarf who is usually seen carrying a sketch pad.

Thank goodness they inherited a "yach" instead of a "yak".
