I wrote a review .. hit the submit button..  got a msg 'your post is too long, go back and edit it'.  Went back and the post was gone...  my response was a tad more graphic that RATZ!

Not inclined to rewrite it all, here a review of the movie by Roger Ebert:

..and a warning from the folks at kids-in-mind:

Kids must be protected from nudity... it will surely rot their minds.   ???

______________________________________________

Briefly...

Map of the Human Heart has a young lad by the name of Robert Joamie who plays Young Avik, the hero of the movie, in the first third of the film.

He's an appealing kid with an engaging personality. Probably the reason why I've watched the movie three or four times over the years.

I made about 20 caps but can't post them all here because of nudity.  I'll post them all to Star Galaxy as an international goodwill gesture  Smiley

MY B-MOVIE RATING  8/10
MOVIE RATING 8/10

Thanks, Cal.  This is one that would have been easy to overlook without knowing that the kids in it feature prominently in the story in flashback.  I had heard the name of this movie before, but always skipped right over it.  Shocked

The caps and the linked review make me want to see it for sure.

Love,
Sir J

Kids are cute and the movie looks interesting.  Thanks Cal.  I'll look and hope.

I relate fully and painfully to the experience of writing a long piece, forgetting something and coming back to find your text gone.  I found that the best swear words I know don't help.  Wink  Now if it is more than a few paragraphs I won't compose it cold on the message screen.  I use the word processor, copy & paste it.

Smiley I saw this movie this evening. I liked the play of Robert JOAMIE in part of 11 years old Avik. My movie rating is 6/10.
