This specific sale aims at collectors and connoisseurs of motion picture cameras and projection equipment. The property in this sale comes from the United States, France and other European countries.

Highlights include an interview cinematographic camera with a wood body, black-painting, nickel fillings and a hand-crank (lot 49); a Biokam camera, no. 23, a camera that was a combined cinematograph and snapshot camera, printer, projector, enlarger and reverser in one (lot 36); and a junior professional motion picture camera no. 59 from New York (lot 12).

Darn, I can't even figure out how to work this point-and-shoot digital camera.   Undecided

Cal probably knows how to use all of that equipment, though.  Maybe we should get him some and start our production company.  Smiley

There's a famous film industry book that an American movie guy made that actually shows people how to make a feature film on a budget and how to get it seen.

If I was in my twenties I think I'd give it a whirl.
