When two souls find one anoter , nothing can tear them apart. IMDb says there will be a Hollywood remake.

That remake has been in the works for years.

Jennifer Garner was presumably going to star in the remake since her company bought the rights, but she's way too old to play Mio.

Having just recently seen the movie, I don't think it's possible to remake this film faithfully for the American market....unless you can go back in time to the 1940's.
