They had also said that Chris Massoglia (stage name Chris Kelly, an LLWS player from Minnesota lasy year who had a recurring role in Medical Investigation, was also supposed to be in this.  Did his scenes get completely cut?

And, if anyone has seen this, does the element of "g**l power: take over the film too much or is there still enough boy spirit in this?  I was wanting to know to see if the monry I was going to spend on this was wasted.

No mention in the credits.  There is a scene where the commentary says they filmed at a real little-league field in Vancouver one day, but Reece Thompson is the only player on that team with any lines, so the only one in the credits.

No, "girl-power" is not a major theme here.

I seen that movie before but it was good. Sean Berdy as Sammy "Fingers" Samuelson is himself deaf that he signs in that movie but he is from CSDR in Riverside that what Cole told me on imdb message board. I'm glad that he is good job at acting that movie makes me proud of being deaf.

Reece Thompson is on a real-life LL team?  Cool.  Smiley

They didn't say so.  They didn't even say they were real little-league players.  Just that is was a real little-league field.  Plus they made comments about giving Reece hair extensions for the scene...

Smiley I saw this movie this evening. I liked the play of youngs boy actors, in particular Brett KELLY in part of Mac and James WILSON in part of Johnnie. My movie rating is 7/10 !
