Gianluca Venantini was born in 1970 in New York City to an Italian actor father (Venantino Venantini) and an American mother. I first became aware of him about 3:00AM one morning on the Late, Late, Late Show on my local TV station, back in the late 1980s.
It was a gem of a very bad Italian Road Warrior rip-off called "
Exterminators From The Year 3000" (1983) ~ 'Gli Sterminatori dell'anno 3000'. Filmed in Spain in Italian but dubbed into English, Luca, being half American, speaks fluent English with a very pronounced New York accent, so he dubbed his own voice.
Basically, it's the same post-apocalyptic plot as Road Warrior with a little "Mad Max" thrown in for good measure. The difference here is instead of searching the wasteland for gasoline, this time it's water.
Luca plays Tommy, a 13 year old boy with very tight jeans and a turtleneck sweater who lives with his parents and some other survivors in a cave. Tommy's dad has disappeared on an expedition to find water, and while walking around outside the cave Tommy comes upon Alien, local Mad Max wannabe, trapped underneath a stolen cop car which he was using to catch the guy who stole the souped up 1970s car called 'The Eliminator' from him that he stole from Crazy Bull, the leader of the wasteland barbarians.
Here's an excerpt from a good review of this movie at:

"
The desert waste lands being what they are, Alien ends up stealing the cop car to chase after someone who goes and steals the Eliminator that he has stolen from Crazy Bull. During the chase, he wrecks the cop car and is trapped underneath it for the next half hour until Tommy and Jo Jo the Hamster stumble upon him and rescue him. Tommy is all that is left of an expedition to find water and he and Alien strike up an uneasy alliance to find water (Tommy has a map to it) that sees Alien double cross Tommy and everyone he meets for almost the entire rest of the movie.
After Alien and Tommy are captured by Crazy Bull, Alien leaves Tommy in the lurch by telling Crazy Bull that Tommy knows where water is and then taking off on a motorcycle. Crazy Bull threatens Tommy for the information and to his credit Tommy proves to be a tough little bugger. When they try to break his arm, they find it unbreakable! So they tie him between two motorcycles and proceed to pull him apart! Luckily, it doesn't do him a lot of damage as it only rips off one of his arms! Thankfully, it was his bionic arm. Alien shows back up and rescues him, leading Tommy to utter this memorable bit of dialogue, "My arm! Don't forget my arm!"
It only gets better from there! If you ever get the chance to see this movie, you won't regret it, if nothing else than for the gorgeous Luca Venantini.
He has a lot of screen time throughout the whole movie.
Luca has an interesting reume as a boy actor, by the way, having appeared in "The Beniker Gang" (1985), with Danny Pintauro and several Italian exploitation horror movies. He grew up to become a popular soap opera star on Italian television.

Tommy and the ill fated Jo Jo.
Tommy about to test out his bionic arm by throwing rocks at Alien.

Luca a little older. I think this might be from 'The Beniker Gang'.
