12-yo Max (Manuel Steitz) lives alone with his father, a pharmacist, after the death of his mother. They form a good team together. Then one day Max’s biggest wish becomes real when he gets a dog, whom he names Bello. The same day a bottle with strange potion appears in his dad’s pharmacy. The potion contains remains of Max’s grandfather and by mistake the bottle breaks and part of the liquid ends up in Bello’s stomach. Bello turns into a human being, Sir Bello, looking like a human being, but behaving like a dog... Through his ‘doggish’ behaviour Sir Bello is responsible for a lot of hilarious situation but also gets Max to accept a new woman in his and his fathers’ life.
