Well, there seems to be very little said about this movie... but I found it absolutely adorable and worth watching!  Has no one else seen it?

In short, from the synopsis:

Crushed by the death of his fiancée, a writer (Cusack) adopts a young boy in an effort to create a family. The boy, who desperately wants a father, is troubled by the idea that he's from Mars.

Naturally, that short description does very little to promote the film.  There is such a fantastic relationship between the two actors, as each tries to reconcile troubled feelings and notions about trusting / loving someone else.  It is very much about the boy and the man, learning to love and trust after bitter losses.

Anyone have anything to say?  Go watch it (it's definitely available now on DVD just about everywhere, not to mention "On Demand" in many places around the USA).  Then come back and comment!

Heres a link to the trailer (on YouTube):

Thanks for the caps!  Although he seemed much more adorable in the film than in the caps...

I just saw this wonderful movie tonight. Personally I thought that the story was awesome and Bobby Coleman's and John Cusack's performances were excellent and heartfelt. I admit I did actually cry several times during the film. Nothing unusual for me. I'm a big baby except when it comes to fighting and extreme sports.  Cry

I thought it was very moving at times. Bobby was great.
It's the sort of movie that is probably best seen on DVD at home where one can have a little cry without feeling awkward.

I liked it, but didn't particularly love it.

Actually wouldn't watch it again, somehow it didn't leave a very strong impression on me.

Still a good theme and a good cast.
