Another new-ish movie (that I have yet to see).  Any comments from the crowd?  Yes, I know Freddie is getting old (I guess he's 16 in this) but he still looks pretty young and is playing a younger kid... so let's humor ourselves...

I haven't seen it either. I saw August Rush recently, that was good, few pics anyway:

Just saw it today Swede. I liked it better than August Rush. Freddie is the star of the film playing a set of twins with different personalities (i.e. Conor Donovan in Twelve and Holding).

Special effects are littered throughout the film. This one is better seen in the cinema unless your home tv is pretty special. Despite the special effects and the fantasy adventure aspects of the story, the script does allow for one tear-jerking Freddie moment, something that felt out of place for me in this film.

Okay, I saw this movie today!  Well worth the $1 entrance fee, but nothing spectacular, really.  I mean, except for Freddie of course.

Oh, by the way Quantum, there's no link to this discussion from the movie... BA REVIEW type thing.

Freddie playing a twin...twice the Freddie.   Grin  Escape fantasy flick, but then that's ok.  Freddie still looks young in this movie.

I also saw and liked August Rush, and I plan to see it  again.  It is a tear-jerker (at least for me).  I thought Robin Williams was especially good--made me want to punch out his character's lights.

I was particularly fascinated by Freddie's twin-performance. A brilliant chance to demonstrate skills and talent. He adds a lot of quality to the movie and almost makes me overlook the corny ending.

Smiley I saw again this evening this very fantastic movie. I liked very much the very good play of Freddie HIGHMORE in the double part of Jared and Simon. My movie rating is 8/10 !

Picked this film up purely by accident and ended up really enjoying it.

Certainly worth a watch, imo.
