A Casa is a Lithuanian/French/Portuguese coproduction by Sharunas Bartas. There is no plot at all, but this should not prevent you from watching it. The film is breathtakingly beautiful and deserves at least 8 out of 10. Anything lower would be an insult to the director. Very commendable is the fact that the unparallelled music by J.S. Bach was used for this film. In this respect Hussein Erkenov (amongst many others) set a very good example in his film Sto dney do prikaza (100 days before the command, 1990).
