I recently purchased the DVD of 'The Gamesmaker' and couldn't make head or tails of it. It fell down on two points straightaway, firstly it had no DVD extras ... very bad and secondly no subtitles which I sometimes find I need to interpret mumbled American accents. Until Ivan Drago (played by the very handsome David Mazouz) got to the land of Zyl the film was becoming a complete bore. The convoluted plot had me wondering what the hell was going on and, of course, had to involve the usual GIRL character which seems to invade lots of boy films these days. So I reckon my DVD will be destined for the charity shop. Surprisingly, this movie isn't listed on BA although, to a certain extent, I can understand why. Anyone else unfortunate enough to have to wade through this rubbish?
