"Look loveable!" Slightly, in Peter Pan, as the boys prepare to ask Wendy to be their mother.

Asa Butterfield as Hugo Cabret

Maybe that's why a broken machine always makes me a little sad, because it isn't able to do what it was meant to do... Maybe it's the same with people. If you lose your purpose... it's like you're broken.

Smiley I like very much the play of Asa BUTTERFIELD in his movies, in particular in The boy in Stripped Pyjama and Hugo CABRET. One of my favorites British boys actors !

"That is disgusting!" - Max Baldry at end of ROME series, on hearing of his father biting out another man's tongue.  Tongue
It doesn't sound like much of a quote unless you hear how Max says it, with his lovely boyish Brit accent.  Smiley He makes it sound almost like easy-listening music.
(thanks to boyactorzrule for reminding me of Max, in another thread)

In The Mummy Returns, just after all the giant columns have collapsed, one by one, domino style, Freddie Boath simply says "Woah".   Cheesy  It's just the way he says it!

Of course he followed that aftwards, when his parents arrived with "Mum, Dad, I can explain everything!".   Grin

Freddie is another one who had a promising future in movies, but chose to stop acting. Sad BTW, Mummy Returns is one of my all time favs!

That's right, and you have to listen very closely to catch the line. Theodore Chester plays slightly and I thought he was the cutest of the lot, besides Harry Eden.

Another line I liked in the same scene: "First impressions are SO important, don't you think?"

Well I guess I'm going to watch this movie again! It has been years since I've watched it, and I only remember how appealing Jeremy Sumpter was. Thanks Young Arthur.

Did anyone see Sumpter in the movie "Frailty"? he had a line in it that always kinda stood out for me "I see the demons, I see it when he touches them" when Dad would bring a "demon" home and put his hand on the Forehead.
I don't remember if the quote is word for word, but that is roughly what he said!

My sentiments exactly, 'Boyactorzrule'. It is good to know and somehow a vindication that other members appreciate the cinematic beauty of Jeremy Sumpter besides myself.
Though not a boy actor who would win a BA Oscar, his looks and method of acting are so boyish and teenagerish, you can't help liking him. The latter comes out very well in'The Sasquatch Dumpling Gang' where Jeremy acts your typical teen ... all pout, reckless bike riding and shaking those blond curls of his.
