Smiley I have seen this french movie in theater this afternoon. Mathéo BOISSELIER have a very good play in part of Nicolas. The others boys actors have also a very good play but I don't know her names. My movie rating is 7/10.

I guess this must be a follow on to 'Petit Nicolas' starring Maxime Godart. Looks like it might be worth seeing though with different boy actors. Thanks for the pics, 'hosenhaus' and 'bowser'.

Yes.  It is the same writer and director.  But they (wisely) think that Nicolas should be 10 years old.  And Maxime Godart would no longer be convincing at that after 5 years.

One of the deleted scenes on the bluray for Les Vacances du Petit Nicolas (and presumably the dvd as well) contains a cameo from the boys who appeared in the first movie:
