And how about these great actors:

(You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)
Stefano Colagrande in Incompreso (1966) AKA: Misunderstood

(You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)
Slava Muratov in Posledniy dyuym (1958) AKA: The Last Inch

(You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)
Sebastian Rice-Edwards in Hope and Glory (1987)

(You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)
Gregorio Muñoz in Limbo (2014)
Although, hopefully Gregorio will do more films and not
remain a "one hit wonder".

The foreign films lose me off but I should have remembered 'Duma' with the excellent Alex Michaeletos. Thanks for posting it, 'bowser'.   Smiley

"The foreign films lose me...."

In reality, Cinefan, all films are foreign to someone.  Even English language films, although they are probably the easiest for most people around the world to follow.

In our country, the English language is required by everyone at collège (11-14) years old, but some don't take it very seriously and end up struggling even with movies.

It would be nice if all major languages were available at least in sub-titles on all dvds that are released.  It shouldn't be overly difficult for them to added and made available.  Even if it's just for the hearing impaired, it could make the world of film so much easier for everyone.

Another one off I viewed recently was Ben Silverstone in 'The Browning Version'. He was great and perfect for the part of Taplow ... a boy both intelligent and sensitive. I thought it was a good film even if the play has now become slightly dated.

I remember reading somewhere, that Alex's parents own and operate a successful hotel in, I believe Johannesburg! He went to work for in the hotel after High School or College graduation, and as far as I know he still works for them, probably as either a Manager or Assistant Manager. Duma is one of faves too! Alex was such a charming boy, it is too bad that he chose not to have an acting career.

I agree.  Hamish McFarlane was great in the film.

One may have to watch this film several times to really
appreciate it.
