Hondo (1953)



Just got to see Lee Aaker who has a small supporting role
alongside John Wayne and Michael Pate in Hondo (1953).

Originally shot in 3D using dual 35mm Arriflex cameras with 1.37:1 Spherical lenses,
but was to be released to theaters at 1.85:1 matted aspect.
The film played in select movie theaters (big city theaters that had dual projectors for
3D playback) for only one week.  Then 2D prints were released to all theaters.

A Halloween Weekend Bash just isn't complete without screening
a John Wayne film.  Not sure if we'll pick this one, but I loved it!

I liked quite a few of the John Wayne films. This kid looks cute but who has ever heard of him before now?   

I have seen this movie this evening. Lee AAKER have a very good and moviing play in part of Johnny. My movie rating is 7/10 !
