Just got to see Pete's Dragon (2016) up on the
big screen.  Really enjoyed Oakes Fegley! (Isn't that just
the coolest name!)  Hope to see more from him.

Very well done.  A little bit slow in
spots but definitely worth a look. 

Also stars Robert Redford, Bryce Dallas Howard, and
Karl Urban.

Oakes (where DO they get these names?) looks quite cute if a little young for my taste. He looks like a candidate to play Mowgli.   Wink

Definitely a lot of fun to watch!  Check out the commentary
audio track that features the director, Oakes Fegley, and
Oona Laurence.

Oakes has a good time with the commentary and he has
the most wonderful laugh and giggles.

Um, no.

Mowgli is not white. There's plenty of good non-white boy actors who can play that role.

Neel Sethi did well in this year's version. Rohan Chand looks like he'll also do fine in the 2018 version.

Oakes is super cute, but there's plenty of other roles out there for him.
