Somebody may be surprized to find his name here, but still it's not a mistake.
A top Soviet chess player and a world-class concert pianist, Mark Taimanov didn't miss his chance to get into acting.
When he was about 10, he starred in "Beethoven's Concerto" (1936).
(Obviously, the movie itself is a piece of pure Soviet propaganda but still it's good enough to be remembered.Smiley)
P.S. As an adult, Taimanov also appeared in "The Grandmaster" (1972) as a cameo.
