Un sac de billes (2017) France [A Bag of Marbles]

A new version of this WWII story.

The adventure of a Jewish kid and of his brother escaping the Nazi persecution in the occupied France.

Batyste Fleurial and Dorian Le Clech as the two boys

I do not know how it compares to the 1975 version, already in our database.  If you get a chance to see it, let us know.  The US release is March 23, but probably only in "Art House" venues.

Looks interesting though I have not seen the 1975 version either. I love those French boys' names, Batyste Fleurial and Dorian Le Clech.   Smiley

Thanks, 'hosenhaus'.

The film is interesting.
But it is still worth reading the book.
