A story about incredible adventures of a 13-year-old Shurik Kalashnikov - a boy from an orphanage and a dog Spartak. Friends are homeless and their friendship is repeatedly tested on devotion and faithfulness. They encounter "new Russians", street urchins, military unit of official dog-breeding… Finally, Spartak helps to capture the terrorists and the friends become heroes.

Wish I could find this one.... If someone has any clues where I should look, please let me know.

Well, send that lad my way. I'll see to it that he doesn't have to go back to any old orphanage. He can stay with me. Why, I'll even let him sleep in my bed.

I'd certainly love to see this one. Thanks for the preview.

The boy on the poster reminds me of Olivier Tuinier.

This movie was also recently mentioned by Cal (including pictures) in the following thread: (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

Finally found a site where the DVD (PAL) can be purchased. :bounce:  (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)
Have ordered in the past with them and their service is quite ok!

Smiley I saw this movie and I liked  it very much for the play of Grigori KHRISTOFOROV in Kalashnikov.
