Yesterday I received my DVD copy of Jibeuro (the Way Home), the South Korean movie. I haven't had the time to watch the movie yet, but after viewing the trailer of the movie (the extras also include 'The Making Of..') I had the wonderful feeling that this movie will even turn out better than I expected.

The story is about a 7-year old city kid, that is forced to spend some time in the province with his mute grandmother. So this is not only a story about two people that differ in age, but also differ in lifestyle. And how they manage to cope.

I hope to be able to watch the movie and write a review very soon, but for those who simply can't wait: the DVD R3 can be ordered through (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links) for US$ 17.95, including shipment to the USA.

Thanks for that post, socksoles !  Looks like a great movie.  I have a good friend in South Korea, I will email him to see if he knows about this film.
