A new Dutch movie that had its theatrical release today.

The story is about ten-year old Andreas (David Geclovicz), a new kid in town. Since his parents are scientists he has been living all over the world. He gets befriended with his neighbour girl Vero (Fran Michiels) and two of her friends; Wietse (Wietse Tanghe) and Kasper (Jurre Baguet).

Together they secretly hear Andreas' parents talk and based on that there is only one conclusion: they're Aliens.....

Wow! This looks like a really cool movie! I hope I get to see it one day... I'm afraid this might be one of about 400 great Dutch films I'll never have a chance to see with English subtitles...

Thanks for bringing it to our attention, socksoles.

yeah this looks like fun...

I wish we had a foreign language channel that specialises in showing kids and family movies...  we tend to miss out on seeing many of these.

R2 DVD of this movie had its release this week. The DVD includes a trailer and 'the making of...'. Big surprise: French AND English subtitles for those who have difficulty with the Dutch language.

DVD is available through (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links) which has an English version of its website and delivers outside the Netherlands as well.

Mr. 'soles, that's exactly the kind of information that's so invaluable to some of us here, and one of the many reasons why we love you so.  Smiley

Love,
Sir J

Hello,

I am wondering if anyone is aware of what the collector edition of Science Fiction has to offer. It is available since february 2005 but proxis does not give any details about it.

Smiley I saw again this evening this belgian movie. I liked very much the very good play of David GECLOWICZ, Jurre BAGUET and Wietse TAUGHE i, parts of Andréas, Kasper and Wietse. My movie rating is 7/10 !
