Hey, it's an old film, and the quality from this $3.99 USD VHS isn't all that good, but ... a cute red haired boy is still a cute red haired boy.

Edward G Robinson, another bit part actor was in this too.

This is a pretty decent boy movie. Frank Sinatra plays a guy that's a bit of a scoundrel. His son, played by Eddie Hodges, absolutely adores his daddy. Aunt and Uncle are intent on getting the boy away from his dad and providing a wholesome atmosphere.

The song "High Hopes" is part of this movie too. Eddie and Frank do a fair job. Frank needs some voice lessons, though.

"Frank needs some voice lessons"  LOL

Do you reckon he's gonna make it as a singer then? hehehe

I like this movie, and that song "High Hopes" was a big hit.  We could do with a few more feel-good songs these days instead of all the violent and over sexed stuff, IMO.

I'd certainly recommend this movie if you don't want something heavy.  The scenes between Frank and Eddie are very watchable and there is a certain chemestry between the two.
