... for boys with bladder control problems. This lad talks matter-of-factly about his lack of bladder control. Apparently the pull-ups are a boon to boys such as him.

That's a very nice-looking boy, devon, and I'd buy any product that he's selling.  Smiley

Now, what did you say I'm buying again?

Love,
Sir J

I've seen that commercial and it's very touching, in a way. It takes courage for a boy his age to talk about having such a problem on TV. Poor kid.

My guess is that he's an actor, though that may not be the case. At any rate, a person need not be ashamed of a medical condition they have. It may be difficult for a young boy to admit that he is not able to control his bladder, but if he's properly taught the medical reality, he should be able to discuss it objectively. That's not to say it would be easy, but it could be made easier by advance preparation.

The reason I chose the topic "A role model" is that be the boy an actor or a boy that actually does have this medical condition, his being able to talk about it objectively on television hopefully will help other kids see that it's not something that they should beat themselves up about. It's part of life. Accept it.

Now, in case you're wondering, no, I didn't have this problem. I just think it's a good commercial.

I wondered if he was an actor, too. Probably. He's very convincing, in any case.
