Only the first third of the movie is a 'boy' movie. Gigi and Giancalo are the central characters. The two actors portraying the boys are both very good. Nicola Cutrignelli is the young Gigi, Michele Ranieri is his older brother Giancarlo.

On IMBd one user states:

...The icing on the cake are fantastic performances by the entire cast, especially Metschurat and - this I really need to stress - the little boy who plays young Gigi. That kid's performance would be a hard act to follow by just about anyone! Great movie, go see it.

I concur, well maybe not a GREAT movie but a very good one. Also, I didn't have to 'go and see it' because it is being shown on my very favourite channel, the World Movies channel.

Wow, those are great caps.  :bigok:

They're a wonderful testimonial to the benefits of dark, curly hair, and dark, dreamy eyes on boys.   Smiley

Love,
Sir J

Wonderful caps. Smiley  And some photographers really know how to light a boys face.

Sir Jacob, you're beginning to sound like me!  Wait a minute, maybe you ARE me.  Grin
