there seem to be at least two official sites.

one on the imdb page.

and a second one below - which i regard as an act of aggression Shocked

media companies in particular seem to like tricksy web sites which take ages to load and are complicated to navigate.

as if we've got nothing better to do with our time!

I saw this film earlier this spring at a film festival.
I read somewhere that National Geographic was a partner in its production.
That is the best condemnation/recommendation I can offer.
If you enjoy watching their programming, you will probably like this film.

Great picture, appple  Smiley

I saw this recently and was amzaed. The story of the camel and her baby is clever. So far as the rest of the movie goes, the interactions between family members is a joy to watch. The love of life is evident in every person in the movie.

Dude and Ugna are charming lads. Dude is about 14, I'd guess, and is appropriately reserved. Ugna, the six-year-old (estimate) is a real charmer. It doesn't take any imagination to see how he captured the hearts of the camera operators. They put much of the movie in his perspective, and have some adorable shots of him. He carries the movie through the admittedly slow parts (much of the movie). Despite the slow pace of the movie, it is a beautiful documentary. Ugna's smile and mischievous ways are a bonus.

Haven't figured it out yet. Onesies I guess. This shot shows how little Ugna is compared to his ride.

Here's another. Dude bought Ugna an ice cream. Ugna is reminding Dude not to forget the batteries for the radio.

Here are Dude and Ugna watching television at the trading post with other kids. They're watching a cartoon.

Here's a scene near the end of the movie where the shaman has played the music to get the mother camel to cry so she'll be tender-hearted, and accept her baby. Note the relief in everyone's face. They really went through a huge ordeal to get the mother camel to accept her baby.

One last photo showing the amazing beauty of the Gobi and mountains in the far background. The round buildings are the homes of the families.
