Butterfly Effect, The (2004)

I recently rented this I liked it a lot. I really like  movies that play around with time. The boys in it were reallly good. I especially liked Jesse James. He was good at being a really bad kid. The kid that played the 7 year old verison of Evan was good also; I think it was Logan Lerman, but I'm not sure. What the movie could of used was a better adult lead. I don't think Ashton Kutcher was that good. I also  wish Cameron Bright had more of a role.

Any movie with Jesse James, Logan Lerman, and Cameron Bright has to be good on at least some level, right?  Wink

I didn't recognize the names of any of the actors who played the 13-year-olds of the characters.  That's a nice list of 7-year-olds, though.

As for the movie, I thought this quote from a review at IMDb pretty much summed it up, for anyone except those who enjoy boy actors.  Smiley

`Effect' is a science fiction movie with `science' that is blurry at best, and completely devoid of logic at its worst. And the fiction? Well, there just aren't enough clearly defined plot threads to help this messy enterprise, leaving a tedious, drifting, hopelessly dull motion picture experience.

Thanks gee. Smiley  I'm partial to movies about time travel myself.  This is on my rental list.

Thanks for the review, Sir J.  I'm curious to see what so many don't like about it.

Two words, YA
Ashton Kutcher :puke:

The kids did a good job though, Logan Lerman in particular. I gave it  5/10.

Smiley I saw again this movie this evening. I liked very much the play of Logan LERMAN in part of 7 years old Evan and Jesse JAMES and 13 years old Tommy. My movie rating is 7/10.
