I found these on the web. I admit I don't know what's going on, but it's clear that Jake is taking on some very serious roles. Go Jake! Smiley

I posted a number of these caps here about a year ago after the episode, "Wannabe," first aired.  However, I can't claim credit.  The caps were made by Festus, one of the moderators at BOYS.

Jake, who I'd never particularly liked before, gave a bravura performance as a bullied boy who is tricked and humiliated by some girls and then attempts suicide only to be rescued at the last second.  It was a powerful episode, maybe the best of the entire series, about the pain of unpopularty at school and the unthinking cruelty teens often inflict on one another.

I love those caps.  I was staring at those eyes for about 3 minutes
before I started posting. 8)  I never saw this episode but I
am anxious to get, or make, a copy of it.

The ways of the teenage jungle are indeed mysterious if
such an attractive boy could be labeled 'unpopular.' Tongue
But I have forgotten a lot.

I saw that episode a few weeks ago.  Jake did a good job but I'm surprised that so many people seem to think it's his best work to date.

Lizzie McGuire features Jake strongly in every episode. The only reason I've watched that show so many times is because of Jake. Comedy is actually much more difficult to carry off successfully that drama. People seem to undervalue his performance as an actor in Lizzie McGuire...  it's a pity because IMO his best work is in that show.

Excellent caps BTW...  thanks for posting them.
