Does anyone like watch or reality kids shows and or game shows?. I watch alot of nicklelodeon, nick GAS, discovery kids, disney channel shows. Some of my favorite shows are mostly reruns, but are still really good.

Show's Like:
Popular Mechanics for kids
Endurance
Sail away
Outward bounds
Guts
Scaredy Camp
Boys vs Girls

They had a mini marathon of "sail away" today, and I was saying to myself, it would be kewl if they found another group of kids and did that again. I won't say exactly what made the show awesome for, but I can say it invloved  boys, no shirts, and water Shocked  Tongue

PMK is another show that should be renewed. There's plenty of Tyler Kyte's out there I'd love to see narrating new episodes:)

Guts was awesome, but if they do it again, I think they should make it all boys Tongue Wink ...lol

Yup...

I've seen some of those shows. Tyler Kyte was a particular favourite for a couple of years. PMK was a pretty good show.

We have a show produced here in Oz called 'Camp Orange' which is made by Nick. I'll get some caps made from the next episode...  it's usually a visual treat.

There's currently 4 PMK DVDs available in the US (each with 4 episodes on), and 2 more scheduled for release later this month...

I would probably be more inclined to think of Guts as a game show or contest - not reality.  Scaredy Camp probably blurred the line a little more.

Also there was one (ahem) "family" reality show with teens that aired on UPN in winter 2002 called "Under One Roof" - when U-P-ON yanked it due to "low ratings" (can you believe that U-P-ON would be sensitive to that???) they did not finish the run - at the time it was the first reality series to be yanked prematurely.

Also, would anyone else count Wife Swap and Trading Spouses as sort of "kid" reality series even though entire focus is not on the kids?

Oh...just thought of a couple more.  Bug Juice and Totallu Circus on Disney (though those are not on anymore).

Totally Circus was one that I thought of right away as a favorite.  Last year they had Showbiz Moms and Dads on Bravo, which was good.  Along with Trading Spaces: Boys vs. Girls which is my current favorite, there's also been Girls vs. Boys on Noggin, but I never liked that show so much.

There was a documentary on Trio (imported from the UK) called Boys Alone, where a group of middle-school age boys were allowed to move into a house by themselves and observed by hidden camera.  The result was not pretty!

For any Sail Away fans who are interested, Zach has started a blog where he writes about some of his experiences from the show.

"Kid Nation" was a really good reality show, done in the tradition of Big Brother, but in a kid's version, it only lasted one season, it was reported that some of the older kids were bullying the younger ones, because the kids, as a group, had to vote on one kid getting prize money, so this caused some of the older kids to resort to bullying to get voted, prize winner. The show had a high spirit of competition, especially in the games, and it had a couple of real cuties in it.

I love Supernanny! watch it all the time! It sometimes seems a little rehearsed to me, kinda like it's scripted, but other than that its a great show filled with eye candy! Grin

I don't remember his name, but he was the tall blonde Grin
a few of the younger ones were very cute too!
It's been about 3 or 4 years since the show aired.
