That show was rerun briefly here a couple of years ago. It was shown late at night .. about 1am but they didn't show many episodes...  I assume it failed to grab many night owl viewers.  I made a few caps from a couple of the episodes:

the top boy with the long hair is Billy Lombardo...
the middle boy was a major character in a hit TV series that featured an alien..  and the bottow kid was one of my favourites from the 80s. He was a regular in a short lived series but went on to do lots of guest spots and appeared in several major films including one with Mel Gibson and one about a cop robot.

Although I could kick myself for not recognizing Benji Gregory, I wouldnt've guessed the other two.
I've never seen Gabriel Damon that young and I've never heard of Billy Lombardo. But I see they were all in the same episode of Punky.

Was Fenster Hall, the orphanage where Punky came from?

I remember  him on that show when I was 2 to 6 in '84-'88. He was friends with Punky. I do remember the show since I was young. Memories of that show when I watched as a kid from the 80s. I think that oprghanage is in NY where Punky come from. Oh, yeah, I remember that one.
