SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - Philip John Amelio II – 27 – Schenectady, NY passed away April 1,2005 from a recent internal infection. Philip was employed as an English and History teacher at Duanesburg High School in Delanson, NY for the last two years. Philip was born on November 3, 1977. At the early age of 4, Philip was cast for a Pepperidge Farm commercial. This would be the beginning of a long, brilliant acting career including nationally-aired commercial campaigns with Ford Motors, All Laundry Detergent, and Shake ‘N Bake Bread Crumbs. Philip also was the very first spokesman for Jell-O pudding snacks when he was 9 years old. Philip also landed rolls on TV movies including, "A Place to Call Home,” a story that was shot on location in Australia starring Linda Lavin, about a woman who moves from Texas to Australia to re-establish her roots with her 11 children. The highlight of Philip's career was landing a starring role as Kevin on Lucille Ball's last sitcom, "Life With Lucy,” where he played Lucy's grandson.
