I see reveiws about film and I think it mabey is very good.

have seen this film yesterday and i'll try (it is not easy for me to write in english) to give you some impressions about it.

"Les enfants" is a good family film, splitted in several slices of life about the problems and joys of a recomposed family.

Contrary to what the title "les enfants" may suggest, the focalisation of the films is more on adults and their relations than on children. I think we see children only 1/3 of the duration of the film, but "les enfants" is the major subject.

It is the father, played by Gérard Lanvin, a rather laxist man, who has the main role. We discover the relations he has with his two boys (8-9 and 13 ?), with his ex-wife, with his new-one who has a boy (8) and a girl (12), and the relations not always easy between these different people along family scenes.

The film is like a documentary but with many funny situations and dialogs in which there are often very good repartees. It is very realistic with ordinary people in ordinary life with a rapid tempo and no length.

The realistic aspect of the film is reinforced by a very good play of actors both adults and children. I have particularly liked the playing of the man's little son (sorry, I have not noticed his name).

To resume, for me, it is not a great film but a very pleasant one to pass a very good moment.
