This is a new movie that is still in production. The tag line is: A golf drama based on the true story of the 1913 US Open, where 20 year-old Francis Ouimet defeated reigning champion Harry Vardon. Adult Francis is Shia LaBeouf and the younger Francis is played by Matthew Knight. I can not find any pictures of Matthew.

What gets me is that they are billed much lower than other actors. The character Eddie Lowery is listed above the main character and a photo double for Eddy Lowery has the top billing. I can not find any more information for this movie so far.

Josh Flitter: Eddy Lowery

Tyler Brody Stein: Photo double for Eddy Lowery

I just viewed the trailer. EXCELENT! I will see this one. It looks so good to me. I love an underdog and he was a real one that made it for the working class man even though the odds were greatly against him ever getting in the Open that was exclusively run by the rich.

By the way, Josh Flitter is Shia’s caddy.
