	I've finished putting together a set of English subtitles for Je Suis Le Seigneur Du Chateau, sync'd to the French DVD release (thanks to Cal for the subtitle source)... They can be downloaded from the movie's profile page.

	I knew there was a thread about this somewhere. It was listed under the English name. I’m going to have to spend some time to find this one.

If you can play PAL discs (the French DVD is All Regions), then (You need to *Login* or *Register* to view media files and links) have copies for sale and will ship worldwide. (Amazon France claim they can't get copies...)

	hey i have copied and pasted the subtitles for the movie in a word document and saved it in the same folder as the video itself, giving it the same name as the video. how do i now go about putting the subtitles on the video? i have looked at some tutorials online but i haven't succeeded yet... thanks! tom

	If you leave the subtitles as the original text file that they are on the website, with the extension .srt and the same file name as the rest of your video file then compatible media players should pick them up automatically. Media Player Classic should work, as should VLC.

	many thanks for that:) i saved the subs in a word doc. is that ok? yh it's' in the same folder and same name as video. but nothing happens...lol not sure i understand what you mean by "extension .srt". movie is in VLC player. don't i need to go on "file" then "open file" and then select the "use a subtitle file" option? lol what should i put in the "Open" tab above? below it i need to choose the subtitle file i saved in word doc, but in the one above? thanks 4 the help!

	If you just save the subtitle file directly from the website (right-click on the link and select Save Target As), and save that in the same place as your video file. You may need to rename either the video file or the subtitle file so they both have the same filename (except for the extension). VLC should automatically detect the subtitle file when you open the video file, but if it doesn't you can manually select it.

	I saw many times this movie. I liked very much the very ggod and moving play of Régis ARPIN and David BEHAR. They are very good boys actors !
