last night i  watched the old bad news bears for the first time. it was cute but not as funny as i thought it would be. my favorite kids were tanner and lupus.
i thought i  show pics comparing  the taner form the  old one and the tanner form the reamake.

Box office receipts for the new version don't appear to be all that positive. I guess that prolly mean no sequels to accompany the remake.

BTW...  the original BNB is a satire and needs to be placed in the context of the era in which it was made, along with an awareness of the mores of 'society' at that time. The humour may not necessarily be appreciated by today's pigeon-holed politically correct audiences.
