Romuslus gave me this words about film:

Flecki | 116' | Yukihiro Sawada | 1991 | Japon | Teppei Yamada, Tomokazu Miura, Midori Kanazawa, Takuzo Kawatani, Kaku Takashina, Akiko Kazami, Yoshiko Miyazaki, Ryôsuke Miki

Set in Hokkaido, Japan's outback, an eight-year-old boy discovers a fawn whose mother has been hit by a car. Hiding it in a abandoned railway station, he attempts to raise it by himself.

If some body know how to say German language then I paste it here and I hope some body can tell what it say:

I should break out of the domestic mould and order this one. It looks like a nice movie.

If I could only remember more German vocabulary I could ALMOST translate: "Lenny - the eight year old son of an (ice skater?, ice cutter? ice salesman?) . . . " I give up.  Grin

Babelfish's free translation  Grin

Lenny - the eight-year old son of a railroadman finds a daily a small Rehkitz trembling with fear, whose mother was killed by a car. He hides it in an abandoned railway station and gives him each day the milk bottle. Because of its gefleckten summer skin it calls it Flecki. Flecki and Lenny become the best and most intimate friends of the world. Until a daily the kitz in its hiding place is discovered.

*****************
Although it's probably too late to warn about this. This was a Japanese movie that has only been released to DVD in a German dubbed version.

The first text's equally less than perfect free translation...

Kenichi finds in the forest a Hirschkitz, whose mother was started and killed by a car. He takes it with home and tries the young animal secretly largely to pull. When his mother discovers Flecki, she wants to force the son to release that animal. But owing to the grandfather the boy may keep its four-legged friend. When Flecki becomes ill, Kenichi succeed only with trouble to through-bring that kitz. But the older it becomes, moves the closer the moment, since the two must take from each other parting.

Thank you zabladowski thank you very much for do words in english.

It do not matter for me if got english sub titles when watch a movie because it is more better to see what happen than know what every body say.  I seen some movies with no english but I know lots what they say only by what see in movie.

I agree with you Jasen...

I've seen plenty of movies that I can't understand the dialogue because it is in another language, and no English subs either, but I still find the movies worth watching.

Did you notice all the other titles on IMBd with a similiar name?

Kojika monogatari (1991)
"Kojika monogatari" (1983)
Kojiki monogatari dai nihen: Yamatano-orochi taiji (1956)
Kojiki monogatari: Koson-ke no mittsuno takara (1959)
Kojiki monogatari: Okuni no mikoto to inaba no usagi (1957)
Kojiki monogatari: Tenson korin no maki (1958)
Koneko monogatari (1986)

Cal I go to imdb and I look at different films you say from japan that got almost same name.

Almost all on list is cartoon movie that is only 5 minutes.  I dont like cartoon movie very much and I dont wish to see them.

But one on list that got the same name = KOJIKA MONOGATARI (1983) it is a tv mini series that is from same book "YEARLING" and is my favorite movie.  It say at imdb that they make 52 episodes of this series and is 24 minutes each one.  I wish put it on dvd series and it would be very good.  It say is from same book and lady who write book Marjorie K Rawlings it is very good book and movie.  My friend Josh he got movie YEARLING too and he say he like it very much.  Hes eleven he not seen as many movies as me. he got cable on tv but got to share with sister and she is bossy.

52 episodes is pretty looooong for a mini series hehe. Well let's hope they do release it on DVD one day. Hopefully it's not a cartoon as well though.

I had a bit of a laugh when you mentioned Josh's bossy sister.  I had an episode of Little House on the Prairie running on my TV and when I read that bit about Josh's bossy sister, young Willie was being bossed by his very snobby sister Nellie, whom I can't stand...  akkkk!!!
