On a comment from Hosenhaus in the "Talking to Heaven" thread, I just caught the 2007 "Rocket Science" (Reese played a 14-year old freshman, but I'm sure he was actually more like 18 or 19 - although you'd NEVER know it by looking at him) and Reese was great!  I absolutely loved his character and the movie, and thought he was the perfect awkward freshman!

Thanks for the tip, Hosenhaus... now I've GOT to rewatch Dreamcatchers sometime!

Rocket Science
You just mention it, and I smile.

I was just looking over the thread for "Living With The Dead", this movie has been in my Netflix DVD Queue for a while now, I think I'll bump it to the top so I can see it right away! i'm sure the boys all gave great performances! but it always bothers to see in film, when a boy gets hurt or killed. I just can't see why anyone would want to hurt a child! for me, especially boys, because they are SO full of life! I went to school with a boy, (3rd grade) that was abducted and murdered, he, myself, and another friend were like brothers! and this is why I have a hard time watching these kind of movies.

Living with the Dead (2002) AKA: Talking to Heaven is a really good movie.

Unfortunately, the boys have very small parts in the film as Ted Danson, Mary Steenburgen, and Diane Ladd are the principle characters.

Runtime: 168 minutes

Thanks B! I do intend to watch it, as long as it doesn't dramatize the boys being murdered.

Hope you are able to enjoy the film.  It gets really close to crossing that line.
