At the moment: Freddie Highmore.

In the past: there have been many, but Michael Angarano stands out. Bobby Edner is/was great, but unfortunately never played in a single good movie.

The first was Elijah Wood, I think.

In movies my current favourite is Freddie Highmore, who has taken over from Thomas Sangster, who took over from Daniel Radcliffe.

On TV it would have to be the Sprouse Twins and Logan Lerman.

I also like Reiley McClendon, David Henrie, Shane Haboucha, Jordan Garrett.  It's not that I don't like the Brits, I'm just not as familiar with their work.
I thought Freddy Highmore was terrific in Neverland.
Dan Radcliffe used to be on my list, but he's growing up too fast.

Of those who are currently still boys I also would say Logan Lerman. I just watched The Butterfly Effect for the 2nd time just to watch him. Its a shame the script put such foul language in his mouth though. A very gratuitously unpleasant movie.

I'm very fond of Wildeboy's first choice too, having just seen him in 'Alexander'. But there are dozens in my memory's Hall of Fame, as I know is the case with all members here.

You're new to the board otherwise you'd know immediately.  My Boy God of the 21st Century is someone whose film resume is fairly small but always makes an indelible impression.  He's a very talented actor (as well as cute and handsome), but at this stage of his career  is avoiding publicity.

My favorite young actor of all time is Bobby Driscoll.


Currently some of my favorites would include Joe Prospero, Thomas Sangster, Matthew Harbour, Liam Hess, Jimmy Bennett. Each of these boys has impressed me in more than one performance. I am eager to see future performances from Alexander Nathan Etel and Frederik Christian Johansen so I can add them to this list as well.  Smiley
