Hi Kira,

I'll add him to the list of future possibilities. ..

However, before we create an actor's profile we need to know if he's been in something that has been released in 'English speaking' markets.  Unfortunately most of his credits seem to be TV productions which are rarely seen beyond their intended market.

Why? There are loads of movies and actors from non-English speaking countries profiled here. Is this a new policy? Sounds kind of silly to me.

Anyway thanks for the posting the pics of him. He's so cute, especially in the first one. Looks exactly like my little brother when he was 11 or 12. 8)

Why?

Fair enough question. Nah, it's not a new policy, it's more a matter of, available time. I've got a file of several hundred actors that are still awaiting a profile and I tend to give priority to those that have been seen in english speaking countries.

Actually, I've set myself a target of increasing the database from it's current total of 2,356 actors to 3,000 actors by the end of the year so there's a good chance he'll be included at some point in the year.

Most of the many non-english actors on the database have been seen in something released in english speaking markets. There are still thousands of young actors that we haven't had time to add as yet.

Just to clarify:

When Cal says the actor must have appeared in something released in the English-speaking market, it doesn't mean the actor must speak English and appear in American or other English-language films. Of course not.

It just means that at least one of their movies has to be available in translation (i.e., English subtitles) and be distributed in the English-speaking markets (i.e., has been screened at festivals, was released in theatres, played on TV, or is available on DVD).

As Cal points out, there are probably tens of thousands of movies with boys in them. We can't possibly put all of them on our site.

Jonathon got my attention because his picture is on the homepage of the boy actor website Casper World. He was in a movie about a talking otter that I guess wasn't released into English markets. Undecided
