Toni Darder works as an educator in a children's home.  He's approaching retirement and is haunted by a feeling of failure.  Despite that, he continues to give his best for the boys in his care.

However, the admission of Tariq, (Hamza El Hilali), a young street kid, forces him to reassess his life.  And maybe this time things will turn out.  

"Fuerte Apache" is a story about life's second chances, about not losing hope when everything seems lost, even though the last train pulled out of the station long ago.
