Although this 13 year-old-boy plays an extremely large role in this film, it is unclear exactly who the child actor is.

This is "el il piccolo Daniel Piamonti", according to a photo search.

Not a boy actor, and because he is listed as "el il piccolo", as in the film, it's difficult to think it could also be the name of a boy actor.

But perhaps it is possible.

I'm 99.9% certain the boy's name is

Daniel Piamonti... young marco

His character name is young Marco and is credited as such on at least one site.

..besides piccolo means child and Daniel Piamonti is also referred to as the piccolo on another site.
