I'm emailing 24 caps of Shane in Desperation, a made-for-tv movie based on a Stephen King novel.
These were made by Festus, so I can't take credit except for some editing.
These are all from one scene. Shane, his parents and some other adults are locked in jail cells, captives of a Deputy Sheriff in a small, Nevada mining town who's possessed by an ancient demon.
The deputy, who has killed everyone else around, probably hundreds of people, goes away for awhile leaving a vicious wild dog to watch the prisoners and make certain they can't get out of their cells.
Shane realizes that because of his size he can probably slip through the bars. He strips down to his boxers (in the book, he was naked but you can't do that on American tv), soaps himself up and, while a couple of the men distract the animal, squeezes through and runs out of the office. Later, he returns with a gun to dispatch the beast.
In Desperation, Shane's character is not just a child to be put in danger and look frightened. He actually is the major hero of the piece. His direct line to God makes it possible for him to see things the others cannot. Although the movie was obviously low budget and rather mediocre, Shane gave a very good performance. I've always felt he is one of the more talented young American actors in the business today.
