	"East Side Urchins Bathing in a Fountain" (1903) Shows a number of boys bathing in a fountain on the East Side. While they are at the height of their amusement, which consists of splashing the bystanders and swimming around, a policeman suddenly appears. There is immediately a wild scramble from the fountain, the boys seizing their clothing and dashing away, almost nude, through the streets. "TURNING THE TABLES" (1903) Two boys are swimming in a small lake where a 'No Bathing Allowed' sign is prominently posted. Soon they are joined in the water by several more boys. But a policeman spots them, and orders them all to come out. The boys obey him, and come up on the shore, but then they have a surprise for the policeman.A number of boys are running to a lake for a swim. A sign, "No swimming in this lake" is unheeded. After the boys have paddled around in the water for a while, one of them sees a cop coming through the fields. The alarm is given, the boys scurry from the water, but before they reach the bank Mr. Policeman has their clothes. He scolds them for breaking the law, and while gesticulating steps near the edge of the lake. The largest of the boys, seeing a chance to give the officer a ducking, pushes him into the water. The policeman drops the clothes, and the boys pick them up and run off. The cop gets out of the water with difficulty and gives chase, but the boys easily escape.
