Barclay is the youngest of three siblings (older sister ~12, and older brother ~10) and is especially fond of his two pets, a beautiful pooch and a goofey miniature horse.

Ragtime, the pony, wins a prize in a 4-H (agricultural youth competition) show. Consequently, his father is offered $500,000 US for the horse. (Yeah, kind of stupid, given the context, but go along with me a moment.) This motivates two bumbling crooks (groan!) to steal Ragtime.

Most of the show deals with the pony wreaking havoc on his captors, and FBI/police/sheriff involvement with the family to find out more about the missing "family members".

There are a lot of extras (extra actors, that is) that make this already graphically pleasant movie fun to watch. Don't expect an intellectual challenge, just sit back with your remote control and fast-forward through the stupid stuff, and you'll enjoy.
