A couple that you left out:





A couple more possibilities:

Stephen Hudis was also apparently in a TV Lassie movie, a year or so before he made an impact in John Wayne's "The Cowboys".

Sean Kelly who was also in "The Cowboys" as Stuttering Bob did a TV Lassie movie as well.

I haven't seen either of these two 'movies'.


looking at the actors themselves, my favourite in order are:

Will Nipper
Shane Sinutko
Tommy Rettig
Roddy McDowall
Michael Sharrett
Tom Guiry
Corey Sevier
Jon Provost

I haven't seen the one with Jonathan Mason.

As for the movies or TV shows themselves, the best IMO is the original Lassie Come Home with Roddy McDowall.

It's amazing that I've never seen a single version of Lassie!

The one I'd be most interested in seeing is the one with Roddy McDowall. He was really good in How Green My Valley Was. I'd also like to see the one with Tommy Rettig.

I only know 3 or 4 of the Lassie boys so I can't really compare. I would love to see Will Nipper but haven't yet.

I saw all Lassie with Will.

Once here was Leo di Caprio. Or I am not right?

But who is Estes? When I try to find out any info about Will Nipper, I shall come across this name.

His last name was later changed from Estes to Nipper.

I'd love to see the Will Nipper Lassie series again. The series itself was very mediocre but Will was as perfect as a boy can be.
