Badly timed erections are a problem that many teenage boys have to deal with. 12 year old Sei is an early developer and still in 6th grade and is confronted by such a problem in this coming of age comedy/drama from Japan, with emphasis on the 'coming'.

His mother discovers the evidence in a pair of his undies and causes Sei a fair bit of embarrassment with her over-the-top delight.

Sei takes a strong interest in an older girl who is already in Junior High and it's his attempts to woo her become the main focus of the film.

It's a rather sweet tale that is well acted.

Looks like a good one. I'd never heard of it.

Only 33 votes on IMDb and no DVD release? Doesn't look like I'll have a chance to see it anytime soon.

Thanks, Ripley. I don't order international DVDs, because I can't really afford it. (I could afford to get a few, but I know that once I get started it's not going to stop.) But I'm sure someone else will be interested.

Maybe one day there will be a North American release. (Fingers crossed.)

No, I suspect it may be a difficult film to get to see. I got it from usenet.
