Tonight, on local channel 2, there was a program showing many clips of an upcoming Gérard Depardieu film that looks very good.

In looking at the ten films Depardieu has scheduled for 2007, listed in his upcoming productions is one that promises to be very entertaining as well...... "Les Enfants De Timpelbach", which will commence filming in May of this year.  The film is the first in what is likely to be a series, based on a great novel.

In "Les Enfants De Timplebach"..... a small village has children that are so unruly, each night the parents flee the city and leave the youngsters to do as they wish.  One can only imagine what comedy and great scenes that a premise such as this can bring forth.

It's amazing Depardieu has more than 140 films to his acting credits, and he has many good years remaining.

Liked it.

...unlike nicolas who disliked the movie because Leo Legrand was not its big star

...unlike the comment on IMDb who disliked the movie because Gerard Depardieu was not its big star

instead I liked it for what it is.  A fantasy.  A fairytale. A "what if".

What if all the parents were gone one day?  What would the children do?

I suppose Raphaël Katz is the star.  Reminded me of Raban Bieling in one of his movies.  But there were also many others.  Plus those I cannot ID...

Well I never saw this but I did hear about it and I saw pics from this posted someplace else. It looks very interesting and I love Martin Jobert. But as much as I love Martin, the one who really caught my interest was Julien Dubois. That boy is one of the most adorable boys that I have ever seen. I have never seen him in anything but I would watch this to see if he has as much talent as he has adorable cute looks. Sadly, I heard that he doesn't have a very big part in this. I don't know if that is true or not but still, it looks like something that is worth checking out.   Cool
