If this were a 'time capsule' question, that would be different.

But if it is just at some point in our own lifetime..... like in the past if we could have met a boy actor, then it would be easy to list three top choices.

(Not in order of preference, but the year and set that it would have been nice to meet the young actor....)


1.  Robert Bettles  (1975 during making of "Ride A Wild Pony")

2.  Hans Jacob Melby (1986 during making of "Sommerjubel")

3.  David Gallagher (1996 during filming of first season "Sept Dans La Maison")

I always have a problem with this kind of question. To me, the real question would be "would the boy like to meet me?"

I once listed Edward Furlong for a likely meet when he was about 13, but at that age he was notorious for snarling at strangers.

That aside, I will say Barret Oliver and Lukas Haas when they were boys.

I like your spin on it, cal.  One former child star I would very much enjoy meeting now is Billy Mumy. He continues to be very active in creative work and is concerned  about the environment, etc. He was my first celebrity crush when I was a kid myself.

Another former child star I would enjoy meeting now is Leonardo di Caprio, who seems to be an intelligent, sensitive adult (as well as a mega star.)

Billy Mumy.  He was most certainly that kid in "Dear Brigitte".  Can't think of anything else he was in. 


Leo Dicaprio was and is a very excellent actor.  Someone recently mentioned him being on some television series (not Growing Pains, but another one), and it would be nice to see him and the other child actor from that series.

"What's Eating Gilbert Grape" and "This Boy's Life".... remarkable performances.

1. Liam Aiken. For his part in the fun film `Good Boy` and his straight-faced part in the sober `A Series of Unfortunate Events`. He came across as a very pleasant boy during the commentary of `Good Boy`. One of those boy/doggy films that was a cut above the usual.
2. Jordan Christopher Michael. To ask him what it was like filming `Motorama`.
3. Brad Renfro/Joseph Mazzello. To find out from them how much they enjoyed filming `The Cure`.

You might be disappointed by the answer you'd get from Brad Renfro. I read somewhere that he didn't get along with Joseph Mazzello during the filming of The Cure. (May only be a rumour, though.)

My number one choice of all time would be Bobby Driscoll. His story will probably haunt me forever.  Cry

Since it would be impossible to meet Bobby anymore, I'd select Christopher Cleary Miles, Maarten Smit and Brendan Ward.

It's so hard to choose only three, since there are/were so many wonderful boy actors over the years. If time/space were no problem and I had a time machine, I'd like to have met/known:


David Eberts, (as he was when he made 'Burning Secret'.)

Johnny Sheffield, (as he was when he made 'Tarzan's Secret Treasure'.)

and

Darby Hinton, (as he was on the first season of 'Daniel Boone'.)

I think I would like to meet John Konar (aged 12) Terminator-2, I'm 2 lazy to look up his real name.

Remco ('In orange') also aged 12.

And Romec ('Edges of the Lord') aged 13.
