Question about "Night of the Hunter"

It certainly brightened my day to see this board was up and running again !  I've tried to search for an old thread on the 1950s black and white classic Night of the Hunter, which had a good link (of mine !) to an article about, among other things, Billy Chapin - but can't find it.  Is there a way of resurrecting this thread ?  If it's lost it's no great problemo - it gives me such a buzz to see some well-remembered on-line names here !

WB del bosque!

The problems with the website seemed to dissipate after the new year began, or shortly thereafter.

Cal or Joseph or Hosenhaus or Zab or someone could answer you better, but it seems that we did lose some posts that were created, particularily threads from just before 'the fall'.

If the "Night of the Hunter" thread is gone, you can always start another.  It's really a classic among classics film.

Unfortunately, the only thread I'm finding on this movie is this one:

Found it! The link you mentioned, del, occurred in this thread about Billy Chapin:

Thanks, YoungArthur, brilliant !  G'day cal, josephk and nicolas !

I've been spending too much time with the new Hi Definition screens, players and discs and I really had just as much pleasure from the ordinary DVD discs, especially Night of the Hunter and Innocents.  Mind you, Goblet of Fire looks good in Hi Definition (you really need one of those massive screens (52") or a projector - which I haven't got - to get the real benefit of them.)
